Anti-Drug Public Awareness Campaign Held at Moorkkanad Grama Panchayat as Part of Operation Thufan 2.0
As part of Operation Thufan 2.0, an Anti-Drug Public Awareness Campaign was organized at Moorkkanad Grama Panchayat on 28 September 2026 at 11.00 a.m. The anti-drug campaign flag was hoisted by the Hon. Panchayat President, Shri. Hamsa Master.
The programme was organized as part of collective efforts to create strong awareness in society against drug abuse and to protect children and youth from the harmful effects of drugs.
Members of the Panchayat Administrative Committee, Panchayat staff, Haritha Karma Sena members, Kudumbashree members, and ASHA workers participated in the programme.
Following the flag hoisting, the Vice President of Moorkkanad Grama Panchayat led the Anti-Drug Pledge. Elected representatives, Panchayat employees, Haritha Karma Sena members, Kudumbashree members, and other participants joined the pledge and expressed their commitment to anti-drug activities.
The programme contributed to strengthening the collective responsibility of the community towards building a drug-free society and protecting the younger generation from substance abuse.
